留學英國知識英國小學考初中試題妳會嗎
英國開始推行小學考初中的全國統考始于1944年，名爲11 plus，取自參加考試的孩子的年齡段——11到12歲。考試成績優秀的可以進入grammer school,直譯爲文法學校，可以算是我們的重點中學吧，成績壹般的就只能進入普通學校了。
和中國壹樣，學校重點與否會直接影響到孩子整個中學的成績，最終當然會決定孩子能考上哪所大學。
從設立這個考試的那年起，就有越來越多的家長和教育界人士呼籲，不要折磨這麽小的孩子，讓他們好好享受無憂無慮的童年吧。
32年後，蘇格蘭和威爾士在1976年取消了這個考試。又壹個32年後，2008年是北愛爾蘭最後壹次使用這個考試制度選拔學生。現在只有英格蘭還保留有壹百多家文法學校，想進入重點學校的孩子，仍需要參加11 plus的考試。
